Tina is originally from Edmundston, New Brunswick. She grew up with a fascination for cameras and photography. In 2006, she moved to Quebec City and started in the fashion industry as a photographer's assistant. Mostly self taught, she became a full time freelance fashion photographer in 2008. She moved to Ottawa in 2009. Since then, she has been working mostly in Ottawa, Toronto and Montreal, specializing in fashion, beauty and portrait photography.

Dane Atkinson

Visual Artist - Ottawa, Ontario

Local artist Dane Atkinson’s paintings are certainly conversation pieces. His mixed-media works are both sinister and thought-provoking. Atkinson uses a warm, dark palette to present his body-based subjects. His pieces, which border on terrifying and grotesque, are physical renditions of humanity’s darkness and pain. Some of his works are morbidly intriguing, whereas others, are profoundly haunting. Turning away from simply being aesthetically pleasing, Atkinson’s pieces are an almost disturbing reminder that art is meant to stimulate dialogue.
